Nexus

Nexus is a refined, Notion-inspired connected workspace for a fictional product studio called Northlight. Seven surfaces inside an offcanvas sidebar shell: a Home dashboard with recently-visited page cards, upcoming events grouped by day and a my-tasks widget; a Nexus AI page with a prompt composer and suggestion chips; a full document system with 26 seeded pages nested up to three levels deep; an Inbox of mentions, invites and automations; a My Tasks onboarding board; a Meetings surface with an AI-transcription banner; and a Library mapping teamspaces to their page trees.

Pages behave like the real thing: a typed block model covers headings, callouts, quotes, todos, toggles, tables, code, files, two-column layouts and page links — and everything is editable in place. Titles and text blocks edit through contentEditable, the emoji icon picker and the cover gallery (sixteen oklch gradients plus local image upload) restyle any page, and a per-page permission model keeps company-owned docs view-only. The sidebar mirrors Notion: collapsible teamspaces, drag-and-drop page reordering at every depth with cross-parent re-parenting via dnd-kit, a hover context menu per page (favorite, duplicate, rename, trash), a working new-page action and a full settings modal.

Everything runs client-side against an in-memory Zustand store seeded with realistic mock data: pages with authors and update times, onboarding tasks across four phases, notifications with read state, meetings with attendee rosters and Meet codes, plus a global ⌘K search over every page. Includes the 42-color theme switcher and light/dark mode wired into the settings preferences.
