Sojourn

Sojourn is a polished Airbnb clone — a complete travel marketplace seeded with 104 stays across eighteen destinations on five continents, from the French Riviera, the Swiss Alps and Santorini to Cape Town, Dakar, Douala, Zanzibar, Marrakech, the Riviera Maya, Rio, Patagonia, Hanoi and Chiang Mai. The home page opens on a full search pill (destination suggestions, two-month range calendar, guest steppers) followed by per-destination listing carousels and experience and service teasers; the sticky header collapses the search into a live summary pill that re-expands on the exact segment you click.

The explore page is the centrepiece: a listing grid beside an interactive MapLibre map (via mapcn) with price-pill markers, hover highlighting and a popup mini-card, topped by quick type pills and an Airbnb-style filters modal — type segmented control, price histogram with a dual-thumb range slider, rooms and beds steppers, amenity and booking-option pills, and sort. Every filter lives in the URL through nuqs, so filtered views are shareable and survive reloads. Stay pages ship a photo grid with gallery dialog, amenities, reviews, a location map and a sticky booking card with fee breakdown; experiences add an itinerary timeline and bookable date slots; services add package tiers and provider qualifications.

Everything runs client-side against an in-memory Zustand store seeded with realistic mock data: 20 hosts, reviews for stays, experiences and services, six trips, and a three-pane messaging inbox with reservation context. The default color theme is Airbnb-inspired (rausch primary in light and dark), alongside the 42-color theme switcher, and every photo is curated Unsplash photography.
